This project comprised conversion of an existing residential period property into a 9-bedroom residential care home for adults with learning disabilities and mental health conditions.
Works included complete refurbishment of the accommodation to provide 7 en-suite bedrooms. Communal areas incorporating the kitchen, lounge and dining rooms have been upgraded, with period features such as plaster mouldings, original staircase and fireplaces being retained. New heating, electrical and life-safety systems have been fitted throughout. Additional window openings have been introduced at ground and first floor levels, with replacement UPVC windows installed throughout.
Further works included the removal of an existing dilapidated garage, which was replaced with a purpose-built single storey link extension providing self-contained accommodation for two residents.
