Situated on a busy thoroughfare in a residential area leading into Southampton City Centre, the project comprised, for private sale, the design and construction of 1 bungalow, 3 mews-style houses, 9 flats and 1 maisonette, with the flats having a communal area.
The new homes were constructed in traditional masonry under pitched and tiled roofs, and with Juliet balconies. Energy-saving solutions include PV solar panels, low-energy lighting and mechanical ventilation heat recovery.
Externally, works included parking provision, boundary treatment, hard and soft landscaping, drainage and services. The development has achieved BREEAM Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4, and NHBC 10-year warranty..
