The works comprised the refurbishment and conversion of a dilapidated three-storey building into 16 high-specification one-bedroom flats for the private rental market.
Internally, the room layouts were reconfigured, with provision of new gas central heating throughout. We were able to create a raised decking area to the rear of the building following removal of a substantial amount of Japanese Knotweed.
The project is located in central Bournemouth, and this presented major challenges in terms of parking and deliveries to site. During the construction period we were awarded a second contract for the same Client, to the rear of the building. This comprised another substantial refurbishment to provide ground floor retail units and 16 high specification flats above.
